Lowrance Signs Exclusive
Partnership With
Fishing Holdings, LLC
Electronics Leader Announces Renewed Standard Fit Relationship With
Top Boat Manufacturer
Lowrance, a
world-leading brand in fishing electronics since 1957 — announced today its renewed exclusive standard fit partnership with
Fishing Holdings, LLC. The relationship agreement, signed for an additional three
years, spans across all Fishing Holdings’ brands including Ranger Boats, Triton
Boats and Stratos Boats. Offering cutting-edge aluminum and fiberglass bass,
saltwater and multi-species fishing boats, these brands represent a large
percentage of the fishing boat market. Lowrance’s innovative HDS Gen2 Touch,
Elite-5 CHIRP and Elite-3x navigation and fishfinding systems are available as standard equipment on all models. Lowrance
will also co-sponsor events in conjunction with Fishing Holdings including FLW
Outdoors, the Texas Team Trail, Cabela's National Walleye Tour, and Owner's Tournaments.
Continuing on an already strong relationship,
Lowrance offers Ranger, Triton and Stratos boat owners high-definition, full-color,
bright and easy-to-use displays—each providing boaters a multitude of built-in,
as well as add-on capabilities. The HDS Gen2 Touch delivers a widescreen display with touchscreen
functionality plus exclusive 4-channel sonar technology and a powerful internal
GPS receiver. The Elite-5 CHIRP fishfinder/chartplotter combination includes
built-in detailed high-definition U.S. mapping, Insight Genesis™ social mapping
compatibility, CHIRP sonar technology and Advanced Signal Processing, which reduces
the need to manually adjust settings. The Elite-3x fishfinder offers a crisp
display and award-winning Lowrance Broadband Sounder technology with selectable
dual-frequency operation.
“Owners of our boats are a special
breed,” said Randy Hopper, president, Fishing Holdings. “They take their time
on the water very seriously, and we take delivering the best boats with the
best accessories just as seriously. Over the years we’ve found that our
relationship with Lowrance gives that to our customers and we are excited about
our future collaboration.”
“Ranger,
Triton and Stratos boats are well known for performance, both in tournaments and
in purely recreational fishing,” said Leif Ottosson, CEO and president,
Lowrance. “Our Lowrance HDS and Elite series fishfinders and navigation systems
give these anglers the features they need to make their time on the water as
productive and enjoyable as possible.”
